The base for MegaNC is the well-known professional CAD-System MegaCAD. The modern CAD-System makes available all various construction possibilities in 2D and 3D together with simple operation. All functions for the draft, construction and 3D modelling are pratically made available to the user.

Naturally also symbol libraries can be used in MegaNC respectively own constructions or details can be administerd as assemblies in libraries.

After consruction of the assembly or data import (2D: .prt, .dxf, .dwg; 3D: prt, .sat, .stl) with the CAD-Tools the row part definition is carried out.

Milling strategies are directly assigned to CAD-Geometries. In 2,5 D these are contures, bags, drillings as well as specific cycles. In 3D there can be scrubbed, axis-parallel and angle-orientated be smoothed. Additionally there are strategies for the processing of planes and z-constant smoothing. In order to prevent tools the milling paths can be equipped with dipping ramps and starting cycles.

For all processings the tool path correction and an eventual scrub overmeasure are considered. The user can dispose his tools in a library and there he can call them off for any milling task.

In the Ttechnology Manager all defined processings are well arranged indicated. Here also later exists the possibility to change parameters or also to influence the series of working off.
