80-90% of all CNC work pieces are 2D parts, for example Backplott with synchronosised CNC-editor or comfortable conture tracing, so experts estimate it. This means that no complicated 3D-models have to be produced, but in that way the CNC code can differentiated fast out of the simply to be produced 2D-geometry. But not only the geometry adjustment can be faster done, also the CAM program can be operated easier. Less complexity means less time and therefore cost savings are achieved.

You can do all from the drawing creating in 2D to data transfer at the machine with FILOU-NC. Also already existing drawings can be processed further, in the same way as already existing CNC programs can be simulated with FILOU-NC in 3D.
